How fees work
Insurance we work with
We bill many kinds of plans and tell you whether we are in network with yours before you book. The list is by type of plan, not by company. A plan may pay differently for a home visit and a hub visit, so we check both before you choose.
Most commercial plans
Medicare Part B and Medicare Advantage plans
Medicaid plans
Workers' compensation
Auto injury coverage
If you pay yourself
If you do not use insurance, or your plan does not cover what you need, you can pay for visits yourself. We tell you the fee for each kind of visit before you book, and you pay at the visit.
An estimate in advance
If you pay without insurance, we give you a written estimate before your first visit, called a Good Faith Estimate. If a bill comes to $400 or more above that estimate, federal rules let you dispute it.
Checking your benefits
Our front desk checks your benefits for a home visit and for a hub visit, and calls you with what they find before your first visit. The form asks for your name, phone and email only.
What the first visit includes
About an hour with a physical therapist, at your home or at a hub. Your therapist listens, looks at how you move and agrees on goals and a plan with you. What care costs after that depends on your plan or your estimate.
Common questions about paying
Is a home visit billed differently from a hub visit?
Your plan may treat them differently. We check your benefits for both before you choose and tell you what we find.
Can I get a receipt for my plan?
Yes. We give you a detailed receipt you can send to your plan. Your plan decides whether it reimburses you.
Who do I ask if I don't understand a bill?
Call the office. A person at the front desk will go through it with you, line by line.
Questions about your plan?
Call the office and we will check it before you book.
