Hip and knee
Hips and knees do the work of every step and every stair. Your therapist checks how you stand, walk and climb, and builds strength and movement where you need them, at home or at a hub gym.
This care is for you if
Stairs and curbs are slow or painful
Getting up from a chair or the car takes effort
A knee or hip gives way
You are getting ready for, or recovering from, a joint operation

What a visit looks like
What we do
Your therapist measures how you move and walk, treats what limits you and gives you exercises with bands or your own body weight.
At home or at a hub
At home we use your own stairs and chairs. At a hub we add a staircase, a gym and more space to walk.
What decides how many visits
What your therapist finds, how you respond and how much you do on your own between visits.
- Chest pain, trouble breathing, a sudden severe headache or pain, new weakness or numbness, loss of bladder or bowel control, or a fall with a head injury needs emergency care now. Call 911.
Questions about this care
Can I come in before a joint operation?
Yes. Many people start before surgery so they know the exercises they will use afterward.
Do I need special equipment at home?
No. We bring bands and light weights, and use what you have.
